Why Specialty Coffee?

Speciality Coffee Means:

It’s the coffee bean journey from seeding and 100% hand harvesting, processing it, roasting and packing it under high quality standards that has been set by the Speciality Coffee Association to ensure the the quality consistency and spread this culture through the globe.

Farming:

Speciality coffee tree cultivated in an attitude between 400 to 3500 meters above sea level, and this range is the ideal range that the Arabica coffee tree will grow perfectly in, because it is a very sensitive tree that needs special circumstances to grow. Hand picking the coffee cherries in harvesting phase to only pick the ripe cherry then hand sort it again to process it.

Processing:

Processing coffee is the procedure that comes after coffee cherries harvesting and it is one of the main drivers that influences coffee. There are two main methods of coffee processing that comes under it so many other methods, washed and natural. At this phase the either the coffee cherry get removed and the green coffee bean get washed or washing the coffee cherries and letting them dry completely, until the processing phase is completed so they make sure that coffee green beans has no dust on it then packing it in a special bags that will ensure the cleanse of the coffee remains which no need to wash the coffee beans again before roasting it.

Roasting:

Medium roasting range is the preferred range to roast speciality coffee beans, because what more than this will sure ruin the coffee. Then it will be packed and saved in a special bags that have an air valve “one way in to out” to make the coffee breath out the gases that the coffee beans gained while roasting and preventing oxygen as much as possible to keep coffee from getting oxidate which will improve the coffee tastes day after the another.
